Residential New Construction Insulation in San Diego, Los Angeles &a the Bay Area

We install different types of crawl space, wall and attic insulation:

Fiberglass insulation: Fiberglass insulation is made out of tiny fibers of glass that trap hot air. Fiberglass insulation can be either blown-in / loose-fill or a blanket system, great for all different types of areas, from the attic to the exterior walls to crawl spaces.

Batt insulation: Typically made of fiberglass, batt insulation is available in pre-cut panels. It can be used to insulate any area of your home—walls, ceilings, crawl spaces, etc.—and is actually one of the most commonly used forms of insulation.

Blown-in insulation: “Blown-in” refers to a method of installation—blown-in insulation is installed with a special blowing device. Fiberglass is available in blown-in form, and cellulose is as well. Blown-in cellulose is also called loose-fill cellulose.

Cellulose insulation: In our experience, cellulose insulation is one of the most environmentally friendly types of insulation on the market. Cellulose is made of up to 85% recycled material. We think that cellulose, like fiberglass, works well in many types of areas and is ideal for soundproofing.

Radiant barrier insulation: Radiant barrier insulation is installed in the attic and is a common type of reflective insulation. It helps keep homes more comfortable when it’s hot outside (which is pretty much year-round in California!).

Rigid board insulation: Rigid board is typically installed in new homes being constructed, but you may need it for an addition or remodeling project.

Remodeling a newly finished attic? Building a kitchen addition? Whatever the remodel or addition entails, let the OJ Insulation team put our experience to work for you. We also offer insulation inspections, estimates and removal servicesSee photos of new and remodeled homes we have insulated.
